Any product or service supplied by MacawHost is billed on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle selected by the customer during checkout. If a customer wishes to cancel a recurring service, they must submit a cancellation request through the Client Dashboard or by opening a ticket with our Billing Department.
MacawHost hosting services are offered on a subscription basis. For that reason, each product renews automatically to help ensure that:
- The customer’s website remains online and accessible.
- The data stored in the hosting account remains protected.
- The customer’s domains are renewed on time.
The advertised money-back guarantee does not apply to renewal payments.
If a customer submits a cancellation request more than fourteen (14) days before the renewal date for Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, WooCommerce Hosting, or VPS services, we may issue a refund for the full amount paid. For Dedicated Server services, the cancellation request must be submitted more than seven (7) days before the renewal date to qualify for a full refund.
If the cancellation request is submitted fewer than fourteen (14) days before the renewal date for Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, WooCommerce Hosting, or VPS services, the refund amount will equal the amount paid minus the cost of one month of the renewed service at the regular monthly rate. For Dedicated Server services, the same calculation will apply if the cancellation request is submitted fewer than seven (7) days before the renewal date.
If the customer does not submit a cancellation request before the renewal date, or if the cancellation request is submitted on or after the renewal due date, no refund will be issued.
If no cancellation request is submitted, MacawHost will generate a renewal invoice eight (8) days before the renewal date and will attempt to charge the payment method on file seven (7) days before renewal. If that payment attempt is unsuccessful, another attempt may be made on the renewal due date.
The customer acknowledges that it is their sole responsibility to ensure that all payment details remain accurate and up to date, and to pay any outstanding invoices if a service is canceled before its due date.
Renewal payments for products or services with MacawHost must be made no later than 24 hours after the due date. If payment is not received within that time, MacawHost reserves the right to suspend the customer’s account until payment is completed.
The customer understands that any non-renewed Shared Web Hosting account may remain on our servers for up to five calendar days after the expiration date. If payment is not received within that period, all data associated with the hosting account, including the account itself and any backups, will be permanently deleted.
For VPS or Dedicated Server services, the customer must renew the service on or before the due date. If payment is not received within 24 hours after the due date, all data associated with the product or service will be permanently removed. This includes all accounts created on the VPS or Dedicated Server, all backups made for that service, and all related information and data. In the case of a Dedicated Server, the server may also be fully dismantled.
Money-Back Policy
Our Money-Back Policy applies to initial orders of Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, WooCommerce Hosting, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and Dedicated CPU Servers. MacawHost will issue a full refund for hosting services if the cancellation request meets the conditions outlined below.
- The cancellation request must be submitted within the first 14 days after a Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, or WooCommerce Hosting service becomes active.
- The cancellation request must be submitted within the first 14 days after a VPS service becomes active.
- The cancellation request must be submitted within the first 7 days after a Dedicated Server service becomes active.
A cancellation request will not qualify for a full refund if:
- A new Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, or WooCommerce Hosting account is purchased in order to avoid renewal of the original service.
- Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, or WooCommerce Hosting services have been active for more than 14 days.
- VPS services have been active for more than 14 days.
- Dedicated Server services have been active for more than 7 days.
The customer agrees that if a domain name was registered or transferred at no cost as part of MacawHost products or services, a fee covering the cost of that domain registration or transfer will be charged if the service is canceled.
